Panto programme draft- 3

This is the back and front page of the programme. I have made drastic changes to the other two drafts. I have added more colour and also added a castle to the back page. This will hopefully intrigue the audience more and get the younger children excited to watch the show. I feel the colour brings light to the show and makes it seem like a pantomime.

This is the 2nd and 7th page. The reason why they are not in order because when printed they will be double sided so the order will change.

I've decided to make the edges look more burnt to give it that magical scroll feeling. I also feel like it fills up the space a bit more, rather than just a simple colour.

This is the creative team and running order pages. Once again they are not in order of appearance. I did number the pages so when being printed they will be able to understand how to do it.

This will be the centre fold for the programme. I did this on purpose because it means I can fit everyone on and so everyone looks equal. Even from here I can see that the headshots are way to big. I will need to adjust them before printing.

Draft copy of Panto Programme

This draft is in my log book. I have decided to keep the centre pages a different colour to show contrast. I feel the golden brown gives the old fashion story feel.

Draft copies of my programme- draft 1

This was my first draft for the puss in boots programme.
As you can see it is very bland  and not colourful like a pantomime should be. This matched my first initial sketch for the programme. Although I wrote it off I wanted to see what it would look like on the computer. However my opinion still stands to add more colour.

I also don't want there to be a boot for the back page as it looks to much of the same thing. I was thinking even fields or a castle. I am still not sure which one to do, so I will experiment.

Programme- the start!!!

For our show Puss in boots I was given the role to design the programme.

I have done some work in my logbook on paper… however I couldn’t fit everything in and considering most of my work was done on the computer I decided the blog would be the best way of showing you any additional work.

On here I will include different drafts, the changes I had to make, mini evaluations and any other bits and bobs.

Hope you enjoy it
